Bio
Dr. Rodney de Palma is a Consultant Cardiologist at Buckinghamshire NHS Healthcare Trust and privately, at the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital.
Dr De Palma gained his MB BS from the University of London in 1995 after first completing a BSc in neuroscience and basic medical science. He gained the university gold medal during his medical degree and went on to study health economics, management, and cardiovascular outcomes at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017.
Research & Training
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. De Palma is also an associate editor for the BMJ Open Heart Journal and an editor of the PCR-EAPCI textbook which covers all aspects of percutaneous cardiovascular interventional practice.
He has also undertaken an imaging and structural heart disease fellowship at Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland, before becoming a specialist registrar at the London Chest Hospital. In addition, he has undertaken a structural intervention fellowship at Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden.
