A Growing Reputation
Therapeutic movements encouraged by MindMotionGo therapy can help with a range of rehabilitation needs, through an innate ability to be targeted at particular issues.
The platform was developed in conjunction with the US based, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Thorough trials saw benefits for stroke patients, those with brain injuries, neurological issues, such as MS, or Parkinson’s, or the impact of advancing years.
From an academic start based on neuroscience, MindMotionGo has become practical reality and spread across the globe. Leading rehabilitation centres and their patients becoming aware of the benefits, for motor function and cognition.
A Medical Rationale
Computer gaming is widespread, yet does not match the dedicated programming of MindMotionGo. Each activity is designed to stimulate medically needed movement and cognitive action, along with encouraging users to prolong activity which is never mundane.
-
Enjoyable Therapy
MindMotion is an engaging and adaptable environment. Activities can be chosen to fit with each patient’s level of impairment and personal rehabilitation goals.
-
Natural Development
Quite complex, exploratory movements happen naturally, whilst people are immersed in the games. Tangible benefits follow, without a feeling of effort.
-
Effective Control
Built in levels of customisation, motion capture and reporting add insight and improve outcomes, as does clear visual and auditory feedback.
The level of thought which has gone into MindMotionGo is remarkable, creating a therapeutic environment able to help so many people.
MindMotionGo At Home
An individual assessment by our team will make sense before starting MindMotionGo therapy, along with sessions at our rehabilitation centre.
The Royal Bucks has worked closely with Mindmaze, MindMotion’s producer, for some time. Providing feedback on user experience and clinical outcomes, as well as the best way for people to continue therapy in their own home.
Home sessions can be monitored and reviewed by a therapist, who knows your needs and how you should be working to achieve the right results.
There may be cases where mixing home therapy with time at our centre makes sense, or you can reach a point where just at home is fine. We can help with set up, your therapist will still offer insight, encouragement and regular reviews.
MindMotion systems are well suited to a clinical environment, or space at home. With good support, your progress can continue.
