Visiting Hours & Facilities

Visiting Is From Monday to Sunday

10am – 10pm

Our visiting hours are generous for good reason, we appreciate the part family, or friends can play in successful rehabilitation.

They are welcomed in patients’ rooms, or to watch therapy sessions if appropriate. Guest meals can be ordered, to share time and delicious food with people you are visiting.

Recently developed, one and two bedroom guest flats are available right next to the hospital for family and friends, an ideal way to stay close, be involved and offer personal support.

Our staff and other residents will be pleased you are there. Our centre feels more like home, giving encouragement to all.

Travelling To The Royal Bucks

Our rehabilitation centre is a major part of the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, a distinctive four storey building, in a tree lined niche close to the centre of Aylesbury.

Should you be transporting a patient, by all means use our car park at the front of the hospital. Disabled spaces are near the entrance and you can ask at, or call reception if assistance is needed.

Where you are simply visiting, there may be space in our car park, although you will understand why patients are given priority. Three public car parks are within easy walking distance.

If you are coming by train, Aylesbury station is less than a mile away. A few minutes by taxi, with a service available at the station.

Why Visitors Matter

When we travel to a new place, it’s natural to feel nervous or a little lonely. Now, imagine you’re heading to a place that could reshape your future.

Sharing each achievement along the way makes those moments even more meaningful. It’s also rewarding to see how the changes in you are reflected in the eyes of others who are genuinely happy for your progress.

There will also be more challenging times that require patience and determination. The support and encouragement from a partner, family member, or friend can make a world of difference.

Rehabilitation is not only about the technical aspects and skilled staff; it also relies on maintaining a positive mindset.

Visitors play a crucial role in boosting a patient’s morale and contributing significantly to their recovery. The time spent with loved ones is incredibly valuable to our patients and is an important part of the healing process.

Our Facilities

Our patients and the people who care for them deserve the finest facilities, to ensure effective rehabilitation.
