Before You Arrive

Before your rehabilitation begins careful steps are taken to ensure you receive the best care, tailored to your needs. Here’s an overview:

Assessment
A thorough assessment takes place by our specialist team. This can be done at our centre, virtually, or through a home visit. The assessment will include your personal needs, current condition and a review of your medical history. Family involvement is always welcome if you wish.

Financial and Insurance Arrangements
Costs of treatment, insurance coverage, and payment options are discussed. Whether you are self-paying or covered by insurance our team will help guide you through paperwork and financial planning.

A Personalised Treatment Plan
Following your assessment a tailored treatment plan will be developed with input from our specialist rehabilitation team and yourself. Assessment is an ongoing process throughout your stay, with therapy, other treatment and goals continually updated. You will be introduced to the team that will be looking after you and the nursing assessment, care planning and timetable will be completed.

On Your Arrival

When you arrive at reception, a member of the rehab team will meet you and help you settle in. They will answer any questions you may have and explain the available facilities.

Your private ensuite room will be ready for you, along with any special facilities you require. If you wish, your family, or friends can be involved with helping you settle in. You will be welcomed by our team who are there to offer you support for each day you are with us and from the moment you arrive.

Your room includes a television and phone, as well as access to guest WiFi. If you haven’t brought them with you, towels, toiletries, and nightwear will be provided.

If you have any meetings, assessments, or therapy sessions scheduled for that day or the next, they will be discussed and confirmed.

Your medical needs will also be addressed, with the focus shifting to the reason you came. Over the next few days, you’ll begin participating in your personalised rehabilitation program.

We also take care of the small details, from hot or cold drinks to delicious meals. The main focus, however, will be on working together intensively to help shape your future.
