A Non-Surgical Medical Tool
Endoscopy is an essential tool for diagnosing or assisting with treatment. Biopsies, cell samples or suspicious growths can all be aided by endoscopy without requiring invasive surgery.
The procedure involves a thin, flexible tube with a light and camera on the end. It allows the clinical team to see inside the body and view the picture on a monitor.
Endoscopy can be used to look at many areas of your body including your throat, colon, bladder, lungs, larynx and kidneys.
The tube can either be inserted through your nose, mouth or back passage or a small incision can be made in a part of your body to look at areas such as your joints and abdomen.
Our expert clinicians will take good care of you and offer high levels of comfort and support when carrying out this procedure. You will be kept fully informed throughout, making it as stress-free as possible.
