What to Expect During Cryotherapy
- Consultation – Your condition will be assessed by a consultant dermatologist to determine if cryotherapy is suitable.
- Procedure – Liquid nitrogen is applied directly to the lesion using a spray applicator.
- Freezing Cycle – The area may be frozen for a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the size and depth of the lesion.
- Healing – A blister may form and scab over as the tissue dies off. Healing usually occurs within 7–14 days.

Is Cryosurgery Right for You?
Cryosurgery is ideal for patients looking for a non-surgical, efficient solution to remove certain skin conditions. It is not suitable for all lesions—our consultants will recommend the most appropriate treatment based on your skin type, condition, and medical history.
How to pay
You can self fund treatment, or pay through your medical insurance:
For those with an insurance policy which covers gastroscopy (many do).
