As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Mr Jeremic is qualified in dentistry and medicine. His medical degree came from the respected University of Belgrade in 2000, with much of his specialist training taking place in the UK.
This included 5 years of higher surgical training at the North West Deanery, where he sub-specialised in facial deformity and orthognathic surgery. Other key areas were craniofacial trauma and salivary gland surgery.
Mr Jeremic was admitted to the GMC’s Specialist Register for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2019. Consultancy posts followed, including at Oxford University Hospitals, to act as a clinical lead and to support his patients.
Offering individual support through careful diagnosis and tailored treatment is important to Mr Jeremic, in a field where medical and aesthetic needs combine.
Research & Teaching
Mr Jeremic is a passionate teacher, of junior doctors and senior staff. In 2020, he was nominated for a BAOMS Trainer of the Year award.
His publications across medical journals are equally well received and his research has contributed to the development of the oral & maxillofacial medicine.
Topics he has worked on include quality and outcomes in orthognathic surgery, blast injuries in a civilian population, treatment for osteomyelitis and approaches to mid-face, free flap reconstruction.
